〈Rounded Paper Letters〉는 종이라는 아날로그 재료의 물리적 성질을 디지털 그리드 시스템으로 변환하는 과정을 통해, 가장 근본적인 단위에서부터 구축되는 전용 서체와 그래픽 모듈의 가능성을 탐구합니다.
단순히 형태를 만드는 것에 그치지 않고, 수작업의 독창적인 질감을 유지하면서도 다양한 매체에 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 구조적 질서를 세우는 데 집중했습니다. 물성의 조형 원리를 바탕으로 독자적인 그래픽 언어와 시스템을 구축하고자 했습니다.
Rounded Paper Letters explores the potential of custom typefaces and graphic modules built from the most fundamental units. This is achieved by converting the physical properties of analog paper into a digital grid system.
Beyond merely creating forms, the project focuses on establishing a structural order that maintains the unique texture of manual work while flexibly adapting to various media. It aims to build an independent graphic language and system based on the formal principles of materiality.
