처음 마주했던 RTO의 빛과 그림자, 공간에 흐르는 긴장감과 여백을 확장 가능한 모듈로 재해석해 그래픽 시스템을 구성했습니다. 정원(나)·타원(타인)·선(작용)이라는 세 요소를 기반으로 RTO의 프로그램 속에서 만들어지는 만남과 이야기의 장면들을 시각적으로 표현하고자 했습니다.
The graphic system was developed by reinterpreting the interplay of light and shadow, the inherent tension, and the openness of the space into expandable modules. Based on three core elements—the Circle (Self), the Oval (Others), and the Line (Interaction)—I sought to visually capture the scenes of encounter and the stories that unfold within RTO’s diverse programming.

하나의 대상을 특정 프레임을 통해 바라볼 때 새롭게 이미지화 되는 방식을 통해 주제를 직간접적으로 연상할 수 있도록 구성했습니다.
By capturing a subject within a specific frame, the design creates a new visual language through which the central theme can be perceived both directly and indirectly.

한국성폭력상담소는 성폭력이 성별 권력관계로 인해 발생하는 사회구조적 문제라는 것을 알려내고 이에 대응하기 위해 활동하는 여성운동단체입니다.
한국성폭력상담소의 30주년이 '물'이라면, 큰 에너지와 강한 표면장력을 통해 우리로서 연대할 수 있을 것이라 생각하고 이를 슬로건을 통해 이미지화 했습니다.
"균열을 일으키는 용기, 일상에 스며드는 변화"
KSVRC is a women’s rights organization that works to make visible sexual violence as a structural social issue arising from gendered power relations, and to respond to it.
If the 30th anniversary of KSVRC were to be understood as “water,” I conceived it as a force with strong energy and surface tension—capable of holding us together in solidarity. This idea was translated into the slogan:
“Courage that creates cracks, change that permeates everyday life.”

Achievemnets of 70 Years and Futures and Perspectives toward 100 Years
동시대 아시아 문화예술의 역동성을 간직한 국립극장의 움직임을 하나의 거대한 '파동'으로 해석했습니다. 학술행사를 통해 울려 퍼지는 수많은 담론을 여러 매질이 그리는 위상의 출발점이자 음파들의 교점으로 정의하고, 이들이 만나 기록되고 공유되는 장을 '소리-음파의 만남'이라는 시각 언어로 형상화했습니다.
I interpreted the dynamic movement of the National Theater, which embodies contemporary Asian culture and arts, as a singular, grand 'wave.' By defining the numerous discourses echoing through the symposium as both the starting point of phases drawn by various media and the intersection of sound waves, I visualized the gathering of diverse cultural and artistic voices as an 'Encounter of Sound-Waves.'

풍경화의 전통적인 구성 요소인 '소실점(Vanishing Point)'을 시각적 모티브로 삼아 그래픽을 구축했습니다. 시점과 각도의 변화에 따라 유동적으로 움직이는 선들과 그 사이의 네거티브 공간을 활용하여, 전시가 담고 있는 다각적인 풍경의 서사를 시각화했습니다.
Using the 'Vanishing Point'—a traditional element of landscape painting—as a central visual motif, I constructed a graphic system that explores shifting perspectives. By utilizing fluid lines and the resulting negative spaces created by changing angles, the design visualizes the multi-faceted narratives of the landscapes featured in the exhibition.

음악과 기술이 결합된 인터랙티브 전시의 특성을 반영하여, 전시 타이틀의 글자꼴을 해체하고 재조합하는 방식의 그래픽 실험을 진행했습니다. 기술적 규칙이 일차원적으로 드러나는 것을 지양하고, 해체된 글자의 파편들이 리듬감 있게 부유하는 구성을 통해 음악적 율동감이 느껴지는 시각 체계를 구축했습니다.
Reflecting the interactive nature of the exhibition where music and technology converge, I conducted a graphic experiment by deconstructing and reassembling the letterforms of the exhibition title. Moving away from a literal representation of technical rules, the system creates a rhythmic visual framework where fragmented letterforms float to evoke a sense of musical flow.

공연의 서사를 담는 매개체인 '대본'의 형식을 차용하여 정보의 체계를 구축하고, 그 안에서 펼쳐지는 무대 위의 에너지를 가변적인 그래픽 공간으로 형상화했습니다. 일관된 시각적 질서 안에서 매달 새롭게 변주되는 디자인을 통해 연간 프로그램의 통일성과 각 공연의 개성을 조화롭게 구현했습니다.
By adopting the format of a 'theatrical script'—the medium that carries a performance’s narrative—I established a structured system for information. Within this framework, the energy of the stage is translated into a variable graphic space. Through designs that evolve every month under a consistent visual order, the system harmonizes the unity of the annual program with the unique identity of each performance.

〈공상수업〉은 미술관 소장품을 소재로 집필된 SF소설을 바탕으로 서로의 상상을 연결하는 교육 프로그램입니다. '함께 상상하다'라는 주제를 시각화하기 위해, 글자의 특정 부분이 생략되어도 관찰자가 스스로 상상하며 읽을 수 있는 타이포그래피 구조를 설계했습니다.
이 시각 체계를 실체화하기 위해 전용 게시대 디자인을 병행했습니다. 그래픽과 구조물이 유기적으로 연결되도록 지지대의 각도와 재질을 설계하여, 방문객들이 워크숍의 주제를 다각적으로 경험할 수 있도록 유도했습니다.
Gong-sang (Shared Imagination) is an educational program at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) that connects shared thoughts and imaginations based on SF novellas inspired by the museum’s collection. To visualize the theme of 'imagining together,' I designed a typographic structure where readers can intuitively complete the words even when certain parts of the letters are omitted.
To materialize this visual system, I also designed dedicated display stands. By carefully engineering the angles and materials of the supports to ensure an organic connection between the graphics and the physical structure, I aimed to invite visitors to experience the workshop’s theme from multifaceted perspectives.

〈영원한 여행자, 옹〉은 19세기 말부터 20세기, 그리고 21세기인 현재 액체화된 근대사회에서 유랑자로서 살아온 옹기장이들의 흔적과 타자로서의 삶을 조망하는 전시입니다.
키워드 ‘여정’, ‘부유’에 초점을 두어 여행자의 삶을 살아야했던 장인이 지나온 여정을 삶의 프레임이라 보고, 이를 글자 ‘옹’의 획으로 치환하고 재해석함으로써, 그들의 삶에 내재된 역동적인 서사를 시각화했습니다.
Eternal Traveler, Ong explores the traces and lives of onggi (ethnic earthenware) masters who lived as nomads and outsiders in the 'liquid modernity' spanning from the late 19th century to the present.
Focusing on the keywords 'journey' and 'floating,' I viewed the paths taken by these masters as the 'frames of their lives.' By transposing and reinterpreting these journeys into the strokes of the character 'Ong (옹),' I visualized the dynamic narratives inherent in their lifelong voyages.
