공모 주제에 대한 고정된 이미지를 제공하기보다 참여자들의 폭넓은 해석과 다양한 결과물을 유도하기 위해 별도의 이미지 없이 타이포그래피만으로 주제를 시각화했습니다.
국문 레터링은 우리 도자의 유려한 곡선과 현대적 구조의 직선을 교차시키며, 전통과 현대가 만나는 지점을 상상하며 그렸습니다. 영문 서체는 화병을 연상시키는 형태를 지닌 ‘OS Wald’를 사용하여 구조적 대비를 형성하는 축으로 삼았습니다.
To encourage a wide range of interpretations and diverse entries, I focused on visualizing the theme through typography alone, intentionally omitting representational imagery.
The Korean lettering was designed by intersecting the fluid curves of traditional Korean ceramics with the rigid lines of modern structures, imagining a point where tradition and modernity converge. For the Latin typeface, I utilized ‘OS Wald,’ leveraging its vase-like forms as a structural axis to create a compelling visual contrast.
